Transitioning from transactional ClaimSearch to ClaimSearch Essentials

After careful consideration, we have decided to transition our offering away from a transaction-based solution to a subscription, effective April 30, 2024. Below, you'll find details about what this entails, why we're making this change, and how it can benefit your business.

How will this impact my business?

Starting in 2021, many transactional clients migrated from a transactional ClaimSearch offering to our subscription-based offering. Your organization is now in the final phase of our migration.
Your current rates will remain unchanged until April 30, 2024, providing you with stability during this transition period. To ensure there is no disruption in your processes, we are offering to transition your solution from ClaimSearch to ClaimSearch Essentials.

What was the reason for the change?

Verisk cannot release transactional rate increases until the last week of December, making it very challenging for our clients to budget accordingly – this subscription change was a response to those concerns.
Each year, numerous clients unintentionally accrue significant transactional charges. This includes erroneous claim submissions, excessive use of Claim Inquiry by new employees, and vendor-related mapping errors. These reasons result in extra, unintended costs ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Some transactional ClaimSearch clients had individual contracts/forms for each additional "feature" they utilized.

How does ClaimSearch Essentials correct these reasons for the change?

ClaimSearch Essentials now offers pricing based on total claim volumes, eliminating charges for every click and action. This includes unlimited resubmissions of claims and Claim inquiry searches, resulting in significant cost savings for our clients.
Unlimited claim resubmissions and Claim Inquiry charges with ClaimSearch Essentials ensure error-free invoicing, credit/rebill, and invoice challenging. This translates to time, money, and FTE effort savings for countless clients, as well as for Verisk.
