Leading Provider of Healthcare Analytics Opens German Offic and Appoints Managing Director

BOSTON, April 28, 2008 — Urix, Inc., an ISO business, and leading provider of health care analytics and DxCG risk adjustment methodologies announces the founding of Munich-based DxCG Gesundheitsanalytik GmbH.

DxCG Gesundheitsanalytik GmbH has been established to further provide and develop DxCG risk adjustment tools and methodologies for use in the German market. To lead this initiative, Dr. Thomas Zhan has been appointed as Managing Director of the Munich-based office.

Dr. Zahn has been active for over 20 years in varied sectors of German health care as a scientist, consultant and most recently, as the leader of Accenture Care Management. He will lead the Munich office to effectively customize DxCG’s proven tools to the special needs and changes required by German Healthcare, and to work in conjunction with German partners to develop further as required.

DxCG’s diagnosis-based risk-adjustment methods and predictive modeling tools already support German health care in the improvement of quality and efficiency of care and allow for the building of fairer, risk-adjusted care and reimbursement models.

In the USA, DxCG risk-adjustment methodologies have become a gold standard for its ability to accurately help health care organizations measure costs, quality and improve the delivery of care.
