Samer Abou-Jaoudé to Lead Verisk’s Claims Solutions in Europe

COLOGNE, 18 July 2023— Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK), a leading global data analytics and technology provider, announced today that Olav Skowronnek is stepping down from Verisk as of July 31, 2023. Samer Abou-Jaoudé, who has been serving as deputy managing director of Verisk’s Claims Solutions business in Continental Europe, will step up to lead Verisk’s Claims Solutions business as managing director for this growth market.

Skowronnek joined Verisk late in 2021 when the company acquired Actineo. He founded Actineo in 2009, and with the help of a dynamic team they quickly developed the business into the international market leader for the digitalisation and medical assessment of bodily injury claims.

Abou-Jaoudé has more than 23 years of leadership experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Verisk, he served as group general manager for Arabia Insurance and prior to that he held several leadership roles for Zurich Insurance Company.
