JERSEY CITY, NJ, Sept. 5, 2002 — Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) has redesigned its website for a more cohesive graphic look, improved search capability and greater functionality.
The redesign makes the website a rich and powerful source of analytical and statistical information — including summaries of ISO's research findings on a wide range of industry topics — for insurance professionals, risk managers and consumers. The new iso.com can also help visitors learn about ISO and its products and services. The new site is flexible, so it can be revised, updated and improved with fresh information daily.
The site features individual products on the ISO home page. The navigation is easy to use and intuitive, and the search engine ranks results by relevance. The redesigned site also features a shopping-cart function to sell ISO products to customers directly over the Internet.
"The revamped site strengthens the ISO brand image and gets our messages across more clearly and efficiently to our customers and prospects," said John McCue, ISO's chief marketing officer. "The new design is clean and consistent but flexible enough to display graphics used to highlight individual ISO products," McCue added.
ISO is a leading source of information, products and services related to property and liability risk. For a broad spectrum of commercial and personal lines of insurance, ISO provides statistical, actuarial, underwriting and claims information and analyses; consulting and technical services; policy language; information about specific locations; fraud-identification tools; and data processing. In the United States and around the world, ISO serves insurers, reinsurers, agents, brokers, self-insureds, risk managers, insurance regulators and other government agencies.
