COLLEGE STATION, TX, Oct. 26, 2005 — ISO's Insurance Information Exchange (iiX) unit, a leading provider of insurance underwriting information, is in a marketing agreement with Agency Computer Systems, Inc. (ACS) for insurers to easily access iiX's underwriting solutions through ACS's rating software. Under the agreement, iiX's suite of products, including A-PLUSTM auto and property claims history, credit scoring and motor vehicle records (MVRs), can be accessed using ACS2000 for Windows. iiX provides agents with critical auto and property underwriting reports, most of which are available instantly. Using ACS's comprehensive rating information, agents can access iiX reports while quoting policies.
'As independent agents and carriers require faster and more reliable information, iiX is well positioned to provide reports that help our customers manage their risks more efficiently. By making integration easier, ACS adds value to insurers by helping them manage their rating functions more efficiently and obtain underwriting reports," said Sean Quillivan, iiX general manager.
'Integrated underwriting reports from iiX, combined with underwriting edits in ACS2000, provide agents with the tools necessary for accurate point-of-sale quoting. Quotes and reports can then be uploaded to carriers for a single-entry workflow that minimizes errors and reduces costs," said Jeffrey Beauchamp, ACS vice president.
