JERSEY CITY, N.J., May 11, 2006 — The Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA) voted Aimee Siliato, ISO's director of government relations and data management, as IDMA's President-elect at its annual meeting in Philadelphia. Siliato takes office in April 2007.
Several ISO professionals also received awards in recognition of their expertise in, and contributions to, the data management profession.
Peter Marotta, principal consultant of data management at ISO, was named the first recipient of the Gary W. Knoble Service Award. Established in 2005, the award recognizes IDMA members for "significant volunteer contributions" to the data-management profession.
ISO executive vice president Carole Banfield, assistant vice president Art Cadorine and Peter Marotta were all named Fellows in Insurance Data Management (FIDM) — the first year for a new non-academic designation instituted by the association.
The IDMA Board will select the FIDM honorees annually on the recommendations of the Committee on Professionalism.
