iiX Adds Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Records to Comprehensive Suite of Commercial Driver Background Checks

Bryan, Tex., January 6, 2014 — iiX announced today the availability of Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) records to provide employers of commercial drivers a quick and easy way to screen driver safety profiles. A Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business, iiX is a premier provider of motor vehicle reports (MVRs) and preemployment screening services for employers.

Tighter federal requirements for hiring truck drivers make recruiting qualified candidates increasingly difficult. PSP records provide secure electronic access to a commercial driver’s five-year crash and three-year inspection history from the Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

iiX provides PSP records to organizations regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to help them speed the hiring process and maintain compliance. The records also serve as valuable supplements to employers’ driver qualification files during DOT audits. When employers order PSP records through iiX, they don’t pay an annual registration fee. They receive complete MCMIS data in PDF format.
