Industry Expert to Lead Workshop on Predictive Modeling to International Audience

BOSTON, Mass., June 30, 2005 — DxCG®, Inc., the leading provider of predictive modeling software for health care organizations, today announced DxCG's cofounder and senior scientist will be presenting a predictive modeling workshop at the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) 5th Annual World Congress Conference in Barcelona, Spain.

The Risk Adjustment and Predictive Modeling workshop is scheduled for Sunday, July 10. DxCG cofounder and senior scientist Randall Ellis, Ph.D., will provide an overview of the development and use of predictive models that predict individual-level health care resource use. Dr. Ellis will also discuss how predictive models are increasingly being used for case-mix severity, identification of patients for case management, provider profiling and forecasting.
