BOSTON, March 14, 2013 — Catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide today announced that AIR President and CEO S. Ming Lee was named Honoree of the Year by The Chinese American Insurance Association (CAIA) at the 22nd Annual Chinese New Year Banquet.
CAIA President Richard Hsia stated, “It is with pride and pleasure that The Chinese American Insurance Association honors Ming Lee, President and CEO of AIR Worldwide, celebrating the Year of the Snake, a symbol of graceful sophistication, keen intelligence, great charm, deep wisdom, creative problem solving, abiding conscience, and excellence in doing business. The CAIA is dedicated to promoting the interests and concerns of Chinese American insurance professionals. The association, led by a group of experienced professionals with diverse insurance backgrounds, boasts a 700-plus membership from many well-established insurance companies, brokerages, and other firms based primarily in the northeast region of the United States.

The CAIA Board of Directors nominates and selects their honoree based on the following criteria: commitment to promoting the interests and concerns of Chinese American insurance professionals; leadership in the insurance industry; and individual achievements and contributions to the insurance industry as a whole.
