iiX’s parent company, Verisk Analytics, was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of its Just 100: America’s Best Corporate Citizens. This distinguishing honor is accompanied by being named by Forbes for a second consecutive year as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies and also named by the magazine as one of America’s Best Employers. This places us among the ranks of many well-known companies.
We all know that it isn’t the company but its people who make it a great company, and with almost 7,000 employees across the globe, Verisk’s mission for its staff members is quite apparent and simply stated as “Serve, Add Value, Innovate.” Employees given such a clear roadmap that begins with a vision set by the firm’s leadership can more readily find their way to a single client-focused position.
Accolades from Forbes and others are something to strive for and a treasure to maintain, but “the best” accolade is ultimately the affirmation of our customers. The greatest reward comes from happy employees taking pride in ensuring a positive client experience every time.
A Sam Walton quote might sum it up best. The Walmart founder said: “If you want the people in the stores to take care of the customers, you have to make sure you’re taking care of the people in the stores.”
