Collaborating on property inspections in a virtual environment can be a powerful way to build customer engagement and efficiency while gathering key underwriting data. But to be truly comprehensive, the tool needs to work for touchpoints throughout the new and renewal business workflows.
OneXperience™ for personal and commercial lines can bring the current property inspection workflow to new levels by adding valuation capabilities, property characteristics, and aerial imagery to the underwriting toolbox, all in real time. More gets done faster with seamless access to reliable reconstruction cost estimates (RCEs) and high-resolution aerial images.
These integrations reflect Verisk’s commitment to practical innovation that works in the real world to help insurers operate more efficiently and deliver superior service to their customers.
Replacement cost estimates
OneXperience’s integration with 360Value®, Verisk’s advanced replacement cost estimating tool, allows underwriters to view, create, and edit true, component-based RCEs* that account for all material and labor components needed to rebuild a particular structure—without having to leave the OneXperience platform. So, if the inspection process reveals risk characteristics such as an upgraded kitchen, it’s easy to amend a previously created 360Value RCE. Or, if no estimate was created, a new one can be generated directly in OneXperience during the inspection.
Aerial imagery for oblique and orthogonal views
The Geomni Recon* functionality in OneXperience enables users to request and view aerial imagery based on the address provided. It delivers up to six photos, including one orthogonal view, to help reveal hazards, assess risk footprint, and more. Images include overhead, north, south, east, west, and neighborhood views with some reference property characteristics. Together, they can provide a valuable preview of a property location.
These new integrated capabilities enhance the versatility of OneXperience features—including messaging (text, e-mail, and direct), video collaboration, and calendar-sharing capabilities, to name a few—which can help everyone involved in the inspection process connect for an engaging experience. With OneXperience, the property inspection process can be less intrusive and more streamlined while capturing critical data for underwriting, pricing, loss control, and risk management.
